Cupping Therapy

Cupping involves suctioning the skin with glass, plastic, or silicone cups. This ancient technique can improve blood flow, boost immune function, remove toxins, and reduce pain. Cupping is believed to help balance yin and yang, or the negative and positive, within the body. Restoring balance between these two extremes is thought to help with the body’s resistance to pathogens as well as its ability to increase blood flow and reduce pain.

Cold stone massage therapy involves chilling smooth stones on ice and then gently placing or rolling them over the face, neck, or other areas of the body. The cooling sensations from this type of cryotherapy cause vasoconstriction of the blood vessels.
