Can I Use Health Insurance for Be Well Boat Treatments?
If you are suffering from ongoing pain, massage therapy may be an underutilized or missing and important component of a comprehensive treatment plan. Depending on your current health insurance or employee benefit plan, it’s possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for these services.
We recommend asking these questions to your provider when discussing your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include massage benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many massage treatments per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval / a referral from my primary care physician or a specific diagnosis in order for massage services to be covered?
